WELCOMEWelcome to the Kennet & Avon Woodturners club. We are a friendly bunch of men and women of all ages who have a common interest in woodturning. Our club has been running since 2009 and we’re proudly affiliated with the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain. Our members range from teenagers to 80 years+. We also have two professional turners and a dedicated committee who proactively run our club promoting a friendly, inclusive and collborative environment, where all skill levels are equally welcomed. Our club continues to grow from strength to strength, with our membership count increasing, regular interesting demonstrations, talks from wider professional turners, ‘Hands-on’ events where anyone can learn new skills & techniques and every December we have a ‘Showcase’ evening, where people can display the items made that year, as well as take part in our annual competition, donating our competition pieces to a for a well deserved charity or local hospital. We welcome you to join us on a Club Night or simply get in touch to learn more about us.
